Welcome to the Tullawon Health Service owned and operated website.

Tullawon Health Service Inc. is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation. It provides primary health care and chronic disease management to the local Aboriginal community of Yalata, South Australia. The health service provides a wide range of holistic health and well-being services, including; Primary Health Care, Child & Maternal Health, Social Emotional Wellbeing, Alcohol and other Drugs Services, Aged Care, Disability services and more. The Clinic gains visiting General Practitioner, Allied Health and Specialist services from the Royal Flying Doctors Services and the KHWA Alliance. A 24/7 Emergency Response service is also provided to the residents of Yalata.

We attained accreditation under the Royal Australian College of General Practioners National Standards Framework for the provision of GP services in November 2017. The next step will be to achieve organisational accreditation under QIC standards.

We are currently having discussions with other remote area health services in the region to examine ways in which we can assist in the development of a wider regional service for the Anangu people of the region.
